Ready-made furniture and parts thereof
Poland is the third largest furniture exporter in the world and the second largest in Europe. Our country is also a leader in terms of the number of employees and manufacturers in the industry. Polish furniture is very popular abroad and the demand for it is constantly growing. In 2019, the furniture industry in Poland generated sales worth more than EUR 1164 billion. In 2021, the value of furniture exports increased by almost 20%, compared to the previous year, accounted for 4,8% of Polish exports of goods. Poland’s main partners in this industry, in terms of the value of exported goods, are Germany, Great Britain and Czech Republic.
The largest share of Polish furniture exports is taken by seating furniture, such as chairs and armchairs. Second place is occupied by “other furniture”, which includes metal, cane and wicker furniture. A significant group of exported goods are also furniture parts.

The industry includes the following CN codes: 8303, 8304, 9401 to 9404.
These include, but are not limited to, armored or reinforced safes, cash registers and doors, office equipment, seating furniture, whether or not convertible to sleeping quarters, medical, surgical, dental or veterinary furniture, mattress frames, bedding articles and furniture parts, and others.
