Report: The Professional Electronics, Microelectronics and Photonics Sector

The Polish Agency for Enterprise Development invites you to read a new report on the Polish professional electronics, microelectronics and photonics sector “The Professional Electronics, Microelectronics and Photonics Sector in Poland”.

Nowoczesna technologia cyfrowa półprzewodników

The aim of the publication, prepared in cooperation with the scientific team of the Institute of Microelectronics and Photonics of the Łukasiewicz Research Network, is to present trends, innovations and export potential of the Polish electronics and photonics sector to foreign recipients. The report also contains a catalogue of Polish companies and institutions operating in the industry, looking for new business opportunities and contacts for cooperation.

The potential of Polish companies

The observation of global changes and technological progress indicates that microelectronics and photonics will be present in every area of life. The next generation of mobile technologies, which are already emerging today, requires the provision of new and reliable security technologies. Polish companies are increasingly using their potential, fitting into this unique economic trend.

The Polish electronics and photonics sector has shown impressive growth in both volume and value over the past decade. Polish companies successfully develop electronic solutions for many areas of the economy requiring high reliability and precision: medicine, defence, space industry, as well as the creative sector, which reflects Poland’s strong integration with the global supply chain, as well as the high level of innovation among Polish companies – comments Katarzyna Duber-Stachurska, PARP’s Chairman.

The Professional Electronics Sector Promotion Program

The report was prepared as part of the program to promote the professional electronics, microelectronics and photonics sector implemented by the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development as part of the non-competitive project entitled “Internationalization of SMES – BRAND HUB” action 2.26 of the “European Funds for Smart Economy 2021-2027” (FENG) Programme.
