In 2020 Norway opened the first offshore renewable energy production areas on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.
This was the start of the implementation of the investment plan in the offshore wind energy sector, which aims to create 30 GW of wind farms in the North Sea by 2040. For Polish companies, which are an important contractor for the Norwegian shipbuilding industry, this is an opportunity to become a trusted technological partner, also in the field of offshore wind energy.
