The International Book Fair in Krakow

Between the 27th and 30th of October The International Book Fair in Krakow will be held.

The 25^th edition of International Book Fair in Krakow will take place in Targi w Krakowie – the main expo complex of Cracow. It is one of the most important events of the publishing and bookselling industries in Poland. This year’s edition will draw the inspiration from Polish Romanticism.

Every year The Book Fair in Krakow gathers the polish and foreign publishers, book warehouses, culture institutions, associations connected with the book industry, electronic media distributors, printing houses and paper producers. At the same time it’s mission is to promote reading among wide audience.

The event is considered as an important part of Cracow’s identity as a UNESCO City of Literature. It’s worth to be mentioned that the results of the competition for the Jan Długosz Award will be announced during the event.
