Live poultry and meat of fowls

Poland ranks first among poultry producers in the European Union. Polish poultry meat processing plants have the status of one of the most modern plants in the EU, and the competitiveness of the Polish industry in relation to other EU countries is constantly growing. The value of poultry meat and offal exported from Poland amounts to nearly EUR 1.5 billion. Poland’s main partners in this industry, in terms of value of exported goods, are Germany, the United Kingdom, and the Netherlands. In 2021, exports of the industry accounted for 1% of Polish goods exports.

Polish poultry is valued on foreign markets, consumers choose it mainly because of its high quality. Polish poultry meat goes mainly to the European Union countries, Poland is the second poultry exporter in intra-EU trade. Germany remains the leader of our poultry, it is there that the largest amount of poultry meat from Poland is sent.
