23.11.2023
The Singapore FinTech Festival – the world’s largest festival of the financial technology sector – has come to an end. This year’s edition attracted over 70,000 visitors and almost 700 exhibitors. The Polish pavilion organized jointly by the Polish Investment and Trade Agency, PKO Bank Poliski and the FinTech Poland Foundation was one of 36 international stands.
The National Pavilion, organized under the banner of Future Finance Poland – an initiative aimed at strengthening the Polish financial sector, was the heart of Polish activity at the fair. Thanks to it, Polish forward-looking and highly competitive start-ups could present themselves in Singapore.
During the fair, a Demo Day was held as part of the Global FinTech Hackcelerator, a program connecting European fintech startups with the Singapore market. Among 19 companies from all over the world, there are 2 finalists of the European Fintech Hackcelerator, i.e. the European edition of the competition, which has been successfully organized for three years by PAIH together with the Accelpoint accelerator.
As part of the promotion of Polish innovative financial solutions, PAIH together with PKO Bank Polski, FinTech Poland, the Global FinTech Institute, Singapore Business Federation and the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Singapore also organized an event accompanying the Festival – Poland-ASEAN Fintech Forum. The event was devoted to the possibilities of cooperation between the financial ecosystems of Poland and Southeast Asian countries.
