Since 2012, DA ORFFO has designed and built lightweight off-road trailers with independent suspension, tailored for demanding terrain and 4x4 vehicles. In response to the 2022 crisis, we launched the award-winning The Life Chariot project, a non-profit initiative to create evacuation trailers for battlefield medics in Ukraine. These trailers prioritize safety, resilience, and adaptability, with patent-protected designs recognized globally by awards like the James Dyson Award.

U1EVAC (CASEVAC) - evacuation trailer
U1EVAC is a lightweight, single-axle off-road trailer for the evacuation of wounded and casualties from hard-to-reach areas during wars, catastrophes or natural disasters. The vehicle is built on a UNIT1 chassis designed for fast and safe transport in difficult terrain. The body is a safety cage equipped with an evacuation stretcher, seats, airtight boxes for medical equipment and a roof rack. UNIT1 (BASE) - base trailer
UNIT 1 is an off-road trailer designed for fans of 4×4 travel who value safety and reliability. It is equipped with a chassis with a four-point suspension mounting system universal to all U1 kits and a rack - transport platform for attaching body modules. MEDEVAC vehicles and Da Orffo minicampers are configured based on the UNIT1 trailer. The U1EVAC evacuation vehicle on the UNIT1 chassis was tested in difficult mountainous terrain conditions and received a recommendation from TOPR rescuers.
U1XP (EXPEDITION) - expedition trailer
U1 XP is an off-road camper consisting of a UNIT1 trailer and a set of XP modules on a rack/platform. Included:
- universal rack with raised rails and manoeuvring handles
- 4 corner slides for attaching flight cases and canisters
- 4 trunks lockable with one master key
- rails for mounting the roof tent
Vehicles on the UNIT1 chassis was tested in difficult mountainous terrain conditions and received a recommendation from TOPR rescuers.
