Our Economy in the spotlight

The Polish Pavilion in Osaka is a modern area for the promotion of our Economy, the aim of which is to strengthen the recognition of the Polish Economy Brand and increase the presence of Polish companies on non-European markets. Expo 2025 provides a unique opportunity to present our export potential to more than 28 million visitors – including 3.5 million foreign visitors.

The Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH) has prepared over 100 business and promotional events. Their core are industries with the highest export potential: the medical and pharmaceutical sectors, the cosmetics sector, the IT/Fintech sector, the green technology sector (including the hydrogen industry), the agri-food sector (including AgriTech), and the gaming sector.

The Export and Investment Forum

One of the most important events of the economic program will be the Polish-Japanese Export Forum, which will be held on May 20th in the Hilton Osaka hotel. Entrepreneurs will be able to establish contacts, present products and gain knowledge about the specifics of the Japanese market. The Polish-Japanese Investment Forum is planned for 30 September, which is to serve the development of bilateral projects and attract Japanese investors.

Daily recitals, digital installations and interactive artistic experiences serve not only cultural purposes – they are to build the brand of Poland as a modern, open and creative country.

Promotion and economic diplomacy

The economic promotion of  Poland at Expo Osaka 2025 is supported by extensive interministerial cooperation – among others , with the Ministry of Development and Technology, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education and the Ministry of Culture. Embassies, cultural institutes and Polish diplomats are also involved in the activities, which translates into a strong dimension of economic diplomacy – bilateral and EU.

The programme also includes thematic industry and regional weeks, including the Week of Polish Science and Education, the Week of Polish Music and Dance, the Week of Fryderyk Chopin, the Week of Polish Culture and the Week of Polish Tourism and Sport.

The Polish Economy ready for Asia

The Minister of Development and Technology Krzysztof Paszyk stressed that Poland’s presence in Osaka is an opportunity to strengthen the position of our country as a stable, innovative and resilient economy. – Poland is ready to show the world its potential – we have a bold agenda, we are resilient to crises, and our technologies and solutions respond to global challenges – he said during the opening of the Pavilion.

The World Exhibition Expo 2025 in Osaka is not only  a prestigious event for Poland, but above all a specific economic activity. The Polish Pavilion is a area for meetings and talks about the future, which – as the moto of our presence indicates – grows out of heritage, but is heading towards modernity. It is also a platform for entrepreneurs to mark their presence in Asia and establish new business relations that can result in long-term cooperation.

Expo 2025 will last until October 13th. Poland invites you – to the Pavilion and to  explore the possibility of cooperation.
