ZOPI actively supports entities focusing their activities on design, engineering and related services of Engineers and Designers. We represent the interests of our members to the authorities and administration, participate in legislative processes, interact with other organisations of the construction and infrastructure industry to ensure favourable market conditions for companies in the sector.
ZOPI represents design and construction companies internationally, is involved in the organisation of international industry missions, and supports members in establishing business relationships with foreign partners. The association is a hub of information about opportunities for overseas expansion of the sector, and at the same time facilitates foreign entities to establish relations with Polish business.
ZOPI brings together entities focusing their activities on design, engineering services and related services of Engineers. ZOPI has been in existence since 2020 and currently has 41 members.
ZOPI’s objectives:
- To strive for an equal contractual position of Designers and Engineers in the course of investment processes.
- Ensuring that contractual conditions are created correctly.
- Shaping market conditions for design, engineering and consulting services.
- Advocating for legislative changes to bring legislation as close as possible to the expectations of Designers and Engineers.
- Building the prestige of the design and engineering industry.
- Active participation in public debate.
- Taking care to improve the quality of services.
- Raising the ethical level of services provided.
- Building a platform for the exchange of knowledge and experience, nationally
- and international.
- Improving skills and education.

ZOPI is committed to supporting companies that focus their activities on design, engineering and broadly related services. Our mission is not only to represent the interests of our members before the authorities and administration, but also to actively participate in shaping regulations that affect the construction and infrastructure sector.
We cooperate with key industry organisations to create conditions conducive to the stable development of companies in the market.
Thanks to ZOPI’s activities, design and supervision companies also have a strong voice in the international arena. We organise trade missions, support the establishment of contacts with foreign partners and provide key information on opportunities for expansion into international markets. We are a strategic hub that not only informs, but above all facilitates companies to gain new perspectives and strengthen their position in the global economic game.

Unitra, established in 1961, once boasted 28 manufacturing companies and employed 100,000 people. Despite political changes, it survived and remains operational. In 2021, Unitra S.A. partnered with investor Michał Kiciński to form Unitra Sp. z o.o., tasked with developing new audio products while preserving 20th-century traditions and embracing modern sustainability principles.
