Polish Meat Association was established in 1994 as a nationwide industry organization. It is the largest industry organization in Poland and the largest agri-food organization.
Polish Meat Association brings together 70 industry and sector-related companies (shipping machine and packaging manufacturers, products and services in the area of safety and hygiene).
Polish Meat Association members process both red and white meat, i.e.: poultry, pork, beef and horse meat. The products include:
- fresh, chilled, frozen meat;
- meat products: cold cuts, canned food, delicatessen, premium;
- halal and kosher meat.
The total share of members in the sales of meat and processed products on the domestic market exceeds 70%, while in exports it exceeds 80%.
The union includes the largest Polish producers of meat and meat products, who are at the same time the largest exporters of meat
The Polish Meat Association is a member of UECBV.- European Livestock and Meat Trading Union – one of the largest EU meat industry organization.
Areas of export support
We organize abroad:
- exhibition stands of the Polish Meat Association;
- business missions to a given market for companies interested in exporting there;
- training and workshops on relevant export markets.
We help companies affiliated to PMO participate in country exhibition stands or pavilions organized by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development or by other government administration bodies.
We provide advice on exports to a given market, we facilitate contacts with experts from a given market.
We prepare reports and analyzes on export markets.
