THE SYNAGOGAL COMPLEX IN WŁODAWA is a complex of three post-Jewish buildings, unique in Poland, which belonged to the Włodawa kehilla (Jewish community). It is made up of: The Great Synagogue (beth hakneset, from Hebrew: House of Assembly), built in 1764-1774 Small Synagogue (bet ha-midrasz, from Hebrew. House of prayer and study of religious books), from the end of the 18th century. Pokahalny House (new bet ha-midrash), from 1928.
